SB6 House

Located on a hillside of pine trees, the project is carefully placed on the plot with the intention of minimizing its environmental impact. Both the slope of the land itself and the concern to reduce excavation works in a rocky and hard soil, determined the final shape of the volume, narrow and elongated, following the level lines of the terrain.
The intention of obtaining an architectural object integrated into the landscape but at the same time differentiating itself in it, led us to a reduced palette of durable materials that, applied on abstract planes, go beyond a merely decorative and conventional aesthetic. The continuous surfaces of the walls finished with traditional brick, concrete and oak textures, lengthen the perspectives connecting the domestic spaces through luminous environments.
On the other hand, the structure of load-bearing walls and the sober materiality, in addition to responding to the premise of budgetary control, provides an aesthetic based on sincerity and constructive order.
